Description: Shilshole Bay has undergone many changes since the 1860s and the clear natural coastlines have been altered through modern infrastructure. The Shilshole Bay Marina now takes up a sizeable portion of the bay with the coastlines covered in homes. As for the name of the bay it was borrowed from the name of the Shilshole Tribe who lived on the Southeastern edges of the Salmon Bay, which can be reached by following the water channel on the lower left side of the map upwards.
